Obstetric and Gynaecology Nursing

The Department of Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing provides quality teaching and offers best learning experience for learners. It provides courses in Obstetrical and Gynaecological Nursing with theoretical and practical components to students and mould them with essential skills and knowledge to deliver maternal and neonatal care.

The Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing Skill Lab provides nursing student with an additional learning resource to meet their educational goals.

Our institute has modern laboratories with sophisticated equipment for clinical practice. The lab is equipped with birthing stimulators, obstetrical manikins, gynaecological manikins, pelvis, foetal skull, 3D models and charts. This helps the students to acquire knowledge and skill in rendering nursing care to normal and high-risk women during ante-natal, intra-natal and post-natal periods in the hospital and community settings.
